Experience
After graduating from university as a veterinarian, Dr. Woodnutt went on to practice in a companion animal practice in the U.K. She spent nearly three years in two practices, working with a variety of dogs, cats, and exotic species. She is currently self-employed and works as a locum/relief veterinarian part-time. She spends the rest of her week writing about animals. In addition to contributing content to Great Pet Care, her work has been published in a variety of pet magazines and blogs, including Edition Dog, Your Cat, Breed Advisor, and Vet Help Direct.
Education
Dr. Woodnutt completed her veterinary degrees at the University of Nottingham. She also completed further coursework in dentistry, nutrition, behavior, and end-of-life care.
