Chewie: A gentle giant with a big heart, Chewbacca is the faithful, fuzzy best friend we all wish we had. As Han Solo’s co-pilot aboard the Millennium Falcon, Chewie demonstrated his loyalty and bravery time and again. (Just don’t get on his bad side—you don’t want to see what a Wookiee is capable of when he’s angry!) Chewie may seem obvious as a dog name, but it works well on so many different levels—especially for big fluffy dog breeds like Tibetan Mastiffs and Alaskan Malamutes.

Artoo: A loyal, brave and reliable sidekick, R2-D2 is one of the most loveable droids in the galaxy (though his BFF C-3PO may beg to differ). Obi: Gifted Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi (aka Ben) was a noble protector and mentor to Luke Skywalker.
